Hi everyone! First off thanks for linking to my site a'box and reminding me to actually put some decent content in there one day hahah :Bubblegum:.

BDU is looking unreal! Well done guys, freekin great.

Sorry it's taken me so long, been real busy with work, a few business ventures and mountain biking & cycling.

Then just as I was getting some free time and gearing up for a summer of great riding, I got hit by a car while cycling. Compound fracture right tibia and fibula, chillin' in westmead hospital for 4 weeks :Bandage:.
I'm out now, recently started weight-bearing so I can hobble around but still on crutches, waiting for physio programme to kick off so I can learn to walk again :Eyebrows:.

Unfortunately I'm left with a full length tibial nail (aka, a big fuck-off titanium bar inside my shin bone) for about 18 months. If I break that bone again -with the nail inside it-, my leg will be well-and-truely messed up, so I'll be taking it pretty easy for the next year-or-so on the motos, can't compete downhill, etc... kinda sucks.

Aaanyhoo, not the place for rambling :Eyebrows:.

I'm moving house over the next month, then probably another few months setting up a new workshop and shaking cobwebs off the bikes, and theen I'll decide about riding, if I'll sell the Buell in the mean-time, or whatever.

I'll try to use this down-time to write some more articles on my website, post some nicer pictures and what-not.
Once set up in the new house with new workshop I plan to strip and rebuild everything, including the Uly, so I should get some good material during that.

G'day James , welcome aboard, leg thing sounds painfull ,Murdoch had the same in his leg for a while had it removed for the same reason.
You should sell it when its out it would be worth a bit.

JL,mate i feel for you,I t-boned a Jeep Cheerokee in Melb inner city(blond girl making illegal u-turn),my head went in between the B & C pillars throu the glass and back out,as the bike(750 Suzi)fell sideways it fractured my tibia and snapped the 5 ligaments that hold your knee together:owch:,3 months wait for the opp,and 5 months after for rehab(Hope you get a cute Phisio):hard:, I still limp and it sucks when it's cold. Now just take it easy and dont push yourself too much till you start healing.:smile:

Geez Hooligan sounds like you got a pretty decent whack, I was pretty lucky, not much muscle or ligament damage, just the bone. Probably could've been a text-book perfect recovery, 'cept I development compartment pressure syndrome (was training quite heavily at the time on the pushies) so they had to slice my leg open and all that jazz. Got some cool scars out've it though :Eyelashes:.

Yeah Phil just gimmie a buzz if you're gunna be Buelling down in these parts some time and I'll try to catch up with ya.

To put a face to the name here's Buelly and I on the way home from somewhere just after I got it (in 2006).
