My mate just go his bike back from the dealer after they replaced a heap of shit from the accedent he had. {hit a dear}. They replaced the frame as part of the repair.
The other day I was out at his place having a look at his bike and he pointed out to me that the rear seat/mudgard/cheese gratter look to be off centre.
We had a good look and measure up and I reckon its about 20min off to the left.
He took it back to the dealer, second time since repair {wouldn't run the day he got it home. They blamed fouled plugs???}, anyway the dealer told him thats how they come and they're all like that. ??
Any one with an Ss confirm this. Sounds like a big pill of shit to me.

It is a load of BS.

Mine was always perfectly straight, then I had a small off and it ended up over to one side.
Both rear subframe bar thingys (holding the seat up) and the cheese grater section were replaced and it was perfect again.

I would check where the subframe meets the frame and see if it is the same both sides

Yer it's totally fucked. Cost about $8-$9K to fix. Should have been a right off. He has no confidence in it at. Secially see as we are about to embark on a 4000Km round trip to the muster.

Nartman, we'll be seeing at LT's on the Thursday before the muster I think.

Scott,is Simon noticing any fuel weeping out of the bike at all as well?,there was a thread somewhere on Badweb, where one of the guys did the same and clouted a deer or something, had the bike repaired and all was well or so they thought, ended up having a cracked mainframe, not sure if it had any twists in it though?
If a dealer is saying that,I'd be taking it to a higher source,if you can get that sort of thing in writing I will take it to my contact at Buell USA,and we already have had success with one bike already here.
Cheers Phil

Take it up with the insurance company. The repair is their obligation.
