Just like to thank all of those involved with organising “Muster 08” whether they were able to get to Muster or not.
For the accommodation, rides, prizes, BBQ, back up ute & anything I forgot.
Also like to thank everyone who was able to get there. It’s a huge effort for those of us that drove a long way with the bikes in the trailer but a bloody massive effort for those that rode for days to get there then have to ride home.
Takes a couple of days to get over that.
The back up crew were tops as well. So bloody good to be around happy people – little tired by Sunday morning but still smiling. (Could someone let me know their names again? I’m getting old & hopeless with names)
This is my 2nd Buell gathering with Thunder In The Mountains at Bright in 07 also being a success – less people but great people.
For those who haven’t been able to make it yet please give some serious thought for next years before declining. I realise not all can make it for varied reasons but please don’t let personalities come into it.
We may think that we know someone from their written words on a forum but until we meet that person, shake their hand & ride with them then we really don’t know that person at all.
Some are loud & some not, some are shy & some are not, some drink & some don’t, some ride quicker (up to the speed limit of course) & some just cruise & some don’t even ride Buells - & who gave a shit.
I’ve only met good people at every Buell ride I’ve been on.
Hope to meet some more Buellers next year.
Rod.
Was great catching up with you and sprocket again mate, and all the others, had a ball, would not hesitate to do it all again.

Buell Muster's are going to be our annual holiday each year, so I reckon we'll ride some great roads and build some great friendships over the years ahead.:hehe:
Unless we're all dead from the Armageddon Department of course. :redeye: :owch: :out:

we are the same LT...
canned the Beemers and Around australia (for now) we figure will see most of australia through Musters... ans Manx is set on her Lightning.
Oh yeah... I had a chat to the good ol' Gaia... She loved the positivity of us Buellers and the fact we admired her beauty as we cruised... So the ol' girl decided she will hold off with the Armageddon for a while so we can get a few more rides in...
The rest of the world is screwed though:grin2::bite::grin:

Nah man... was a pleasure to meet you and ride with you. We are just gonna get bigger and better with more friends on board.
If we have caught Sir Eriks eye... The the sky is the limit.
I think Taz has still summed it up best, "There are no enemies here... only friends we haven't met yet!"

I to share Rod's sentiments,as are those of all that have posted in this thread,To single out one person would be wrong so a big thank you goes to everysingle person who was involved with muster, wether they attended or not,it just proved what we had all been saying, and that was to unite all of the forums, and thats what it should be about, the friends we make along the way,not the enimeies, there are none of those anyway, just people we tend to disagree with for a short time.
It was my first,(As it was for others as well)and won't be the last,we come away friends, and oh so much wiser for the knowledge that people impart on others,I for one love gaining information on tyres, tuning, and all things "Bike"related.
Well done to the Buell and motorcycle community,we should all be proud.
