last coupla times I've ridden my bike around town ,I've felt like the bike was surging , only a very slight amount.
Well today it was feeling the same and going around a corner at low speed I heard a strange noise like a dragging brake, so when I got home I felt the hubs.
the front was cold but the rear was quite warm ,almost hot.
So I slung her up in the shed and spun the wheel, had a slight noise , so off with the caliper, same deal.
Pulled off the wheel and tried to turn the bearings--- no go , couldn't move em either side, seems they are RS.
Lucky the axle was well greased as that was all they were spinning on
Damn lucky I caught em before it got ugly.
new ones being fitted as I type, might have to check the fronts now, tho they were good last time I had the wheel off.

Well spotted Mick - better go check mine now :errr:

Fortunately it wasnt the steering head bearings = cause they suck to replace ( pressed ) :errr:

Yeah good save Mick, whenever I have a wheel off mine get checked without fail, same thing when I got home from muster, pulled the rear off and found 1 bearing had a 1mm or so side play,so out they came, new $11 SKS put in,in lieu of NTN.
