Evenin' all....

There's a town called Ulong, that's not too far from here and the only way to get there is up this twisty, windy, sinuous piece of tar...and I have a motorcycle. Starting to get the picture?

If not, here is a picture of some motorcycles, parked adjacent to said piece of tar,

...and that log you can see in the background...

Now, if a picture's worth a thousand words, a video must be better, no? (Apologies in advance for the crap sound, mmmkay.)

Looks a great road Linds - which end do ya attack it from, Dorrigo or Coramba???

There is gravel in between isn't there so ya cannot do a loop without gravel??

Isn't it bad enough you own a KTM (with beautiful carbon cans), now you put up footage of twisty coastal roads.......................I hate you.

jeffo - it was an excellent ride;. Perfect weather, met some new people and no mechanical, or other problems. Called in at a mate's place at Karangi, on the way home after lunch and met up with a bloke I hadn't seen for a couple of years. Meant I didn't get home until a bit later.....but ya get that.

Stu - make some (more) money, sell yer house and move to the coast. I'd imagine you could still conduct your business from somewhere like,

.......here?

(The cans are Titanium, BTW, just carbon end caps)

Phil - easiest way is to start from Coramba and go up the hill; slowly at first, to check for gravel, etc. Turn around at Ulong and come back down. Repeat. Time for a coffee at Coramba. After coffee, repeat the first procedure, but finish at the top of the hill, for lunch at the Ulong RSL. After lunch, if ya really want to get dirty, head for Dorrigo, via Megan and Cascade. Afternoon tea at Dorrigo, then make yer choices from there.

It's one of our local runs too. The last time I had a thrash up there the bloke in front came off on some leaves. very hectic. Some of the local sports riders really get moving up and down that road.:errr:
