SUNDAY 20th Sept
Well we meet at Pakenham BP for a 10am depart. At 9:45 we had 11 buells & 1 moto guzzi. One new face, a face we hadn't seen for a while, a buell less Sprocket on a shaft driven moto guzzi (he can tell you about it).
At 10 the sun came out as ordered. Then another buell on a trailer. Bling boys XB12Ss blinged to the max. A electrical gremlin on the shake down run late the day before ended a debut ride today. Troy picked it up at 9am after an early morning fix at bikecraft. More to come about his bike later.
So off we headed only 15mins late. It was a boring old ride to grantville. Smoke and a stretch. Then off we went. A great ride was had all the way to Mirboo North. The roads a little bumpy but you can see around most of the corners so you can still hoot a long.We refueled & had lunch. We picked up two more buellers, couta & rrek. They live just down the road in Churchill. Crabman had to do some repairs to his pipe with a coat hanger. He will no doubt show us the result.
Next stop Trafalgar. A real good ride there, the roads a little wider, corners were sweepers which you can fly through. A few tighter ones as we can into Traf. Regouped , Crabman's pipe shit it's self, so he was heading back via the hwy.
Next stop Noojee. Another good run there, some tight & twisty road just near Noojee was had. We could hear hooli drooling for a beer so we stopped at the pub. A few beers had, bit of chit chat, Mark shot off for another appointment back in Melb. The two boys we picked up did a uturn and shot back towards home.( Great to catch up again boys).
Next stop Yarra Junction. We were there in no time. Speed camera just before town (first one all day) all through ok. Smoke & stretch, Pete selling a few items (BRCA stickers).
Next stop Lilydale. A couple turned left at Worrie, Scott went left at Wandin, Sprocket went right just before Lilydale. We hit the pub there and I took off, the other's were having a few.
All in all a real good ride was had by all (maybe not Crabman) , the pace was not to fast or to slow . Hardly a car on the back roads. Lunch was nice. What more could one want? Better not answer that one?
Afew of the boys took a few photo's so i hope they post them up .
Till next ride. Ride safe. BRCA

Mate, that was an enjoyable day...thanks eveyone.
Some nice corners at a nice pace with a great bunch of people...great view from behind watching as Buells whipped through the corners with some quick change of direction stuff, some bumpy stuff ta keep ya honest...pulled out ta overtake a horse float on one bumpy straight n just hit a bump after gunnin her in 3rd n got some air (front n rear)...front wheel skimmin off the bumps...bitta head shake...tracked straight n off like a shot...hmmm, beautiful feeling...specially the part where I stayed on :errr:
As for me pipe...really pissed...thought I was buyin quality, we'll see what the dealer has ta say before I go on about it.
Thanks for the offer Nobbie but the end cap is reasonably squashed too, because yes I did run over it n I made the right decision ta highway it home from Trafalgar, (straight) for if I had've been in a corner when it happened I would have surely come ta grief...spewin I missed the beer stop but. :nothappy: It fell off bout 5 k's from home...couldn't believe how hard it hit...sent the rear in the air along with may ass...musta looked funny NOT.
It did sound HOT but...like a worked big bore Harley...mothers n kids ran screemin n I had temporary deafness when I got home...RIIIINNG.
My fears were (couldn't think of the right word...any suggestions??) when I found a DING IN MY FUCKEN RIM...WHAT IS IT WITH ME N BENT RIMS.
