Nice! Tell me, was the tatt on your thigh painful?

The hubby and I have a matched set on the calves of our legs. He got his done first and when the guy put the dressing on it, I thought he was going to pass out. Had to be one of the hardest places, to date, to get a tatt!

I'm not really a shorts type of person, well at least till I've got some more colour, one of those people that go to the beach in jeans and boots :embarrassed:

The pain is all part of it and worth it really, the hardest one was on the front of my leg ( right pic round the corner ). I did it myself.......... even worse when you have to grit your teeth, feel the pain but push on as you have to finish the lines and concentrate on what your doing all at the same time. :owch:

I used to tattoo quite a bit when younger but got sick of dealing with all the riff raff ( full face crowd ) and being offered stolen goods etc.

I agree that the pain is part of the process. I talked to a lady that has one between her shoulder blades and she said at one certain spot it was like a jolt to her nipples. Since I am thinking of getting my next one in that area, it's nice to know about. :shock:
